Terms & Conditions

In order to request commissioned portraits from DaisyLizDesigns, you must agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Ensure you read them carefully.

These apply to all commissioned portraits.

Commissioned Art Agreement

DaisyLizDesigns offers custom, hand-painted portraits of cherished venues, including but not limited to, wedding venues, homes and 'first-date' spots. In order to secure your commission request, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required, the full balance will be payable following completion and client approval.

Changes and Client Satisfaction

All efforts will be made to accommodate requests related to your commissioned portrait. Should you feel unhappy, sensible changes can be made with Daisy Smith's discretion. If you remain dissatisfied with the artwork, you agree to forfeit the 50% deposit and the remaining balance will no longer be due.

Refunds and Cancellations

Creating commissioned, hand-painted art is of a high personal nature. Due to this, refunds of the 50% deposit are not provided under any circumstance. This cost covers the time already spent painting your portrait and any resources used. If you choose to cancel your commission once work has commenced, the deposit will not be refunded, however the remaining balance will no longer be due.

Payment Options

Due to the nature of online selling, DaisyLizDesigns can only accept payment for commission artwork through bank or PayPal transfer. Upon commission booking, Daisy Smith will send through an invoice disclosing the value of the piece, the deposit amount and payment details. This can also act as a receipt of your order.

Privacy Policy 

DaisyLizDesigns is committed to maintaining the trust of our clients and visitors to our website. You must understand that DaisyLizDesigns is not in the business of trading, selling or renting any personal data. Daisy Smith of DaisyLizDesigns requires personal information such as:

- Name 

- Email Address

- Home Address

in order to process the booking of your commission, contact you to discuss delivery options and eventually post the artwork. The information you input goes no further than Daisy Smith and is deleted after completion of your order. If you opt in to "Yes, I'd love to receive updates on new launches!" your email will be stored securely to update you. 

You are within your rights to request any data held on you as stated in the "Right to be informed" regulation laid out by the Information Commissioner's Office. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at daisylizdesigns@gmail.com.

Packaging and Postage 

All artwork is packaged securely to ensure it gets delivered safely. Postage options will be discussed upon commission request. In most cases, DaisyLizDesigns will use 'Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked'. This cost is covered in the overall price. All packages will be marked with "DO NOT BEND" to ensure efficient shipping and handling.

Posting Disclosure 

Although all efforts are made to protect your portrait during postage, Daisy Smith of DaisyLizDesigns cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by postal services during the journey to you. If you are concerned about the safety of your commissioned artwork, we can discuss insurance options.

Copyright Law 

Daisy Smith of DaisyLizDesigns retains the copyright to all commissioned portraits (as well as her other creations). Reproducing, selling and distributing this artwork is strictly prohibited without Daisy Smith's prior written consent.
